Creative Exchange is inviting LGBTQIA+ artists to submit work for our juried exhibition, Symbol of Pride, to be displayed during June/July 2023. Hosted in the Creatives At Work Gallery, the exhibit will feature works by LGBTQIA+ artists, written history of the Pink Triangle symbol, a collaborative work, and an invitation for attendees to learn more. During the Holocaust, the pink triangle was used by Nazis to label, harass, and harm homosexuals. Decades later, during the Gay Liberation Movement, the pink triangle was reclaimed as a symbol of pride.
